This Day I pray

This is just going to be a small memoir (ok not so small may be:P or very small may be :P)

First of All, Happy B'day to me!!!! :)

OK, so a quick post here.I am 26 now. I am no more within that magic number 25, and I hope this year goes well for me.Now, Last few months I've almost been rotten, but today finally I've given myself a shake and taken some major decisions in life. I've tossed aside a few temporary things that happened, and I will not look back.

I'm going to stick round with Those valued, cherished,respected and Loved, no matter how much I might err and might want to go away for embarrassment's sake. Not because I want to bother these people or make them uncomfortable, but because I will prove myself to them and that too only out of love and because they want me to prove to the world and be successful.

I've isolated myself from almost the whole world this year somehow. specially in my real life.

I am going to try something that sounds miraculous tomorrow and I hope it just works.Let's see what happens. And yes, when I say snapped out, I literally mean that :)

Lord,
Grant me the strength,
the serenity,
persistence and perseverance.
Make me do what You've designed me for and
what I'm destined for.
This,
I ask in Your holy name.
Amen!!

A long Prayer

O Lord,

I am here,
bringing myself to thee,
in submission to thy will.
But, heavenly Father,
They say that You alone are the father to Your children,
and hence desires if any,
must be expressed to You, and
be granted by You.

Lord,
In this world,
I come across different people,
who treat and understand things differently.
I come across those,
full of purity,
and those full of impurities too.
I understand purity and impurity are relative O Lord!
And, that You love all Your children equally.

But, should the children err,
what their fate shall be no one knows.
No one except...
You divine Father!

I pray to thee........
to make me see...
what I must,
what You wish for me.

Help me judge Your designs O Lord!
Not so that I may become a seer,
but so that I may love,
and not fear.

Lord!
make me believe in knowledge granted by You,
and make me seek the truth, if for just moments a few.
For, the truth delivers,
and ignorance is not bliss.
And to fully surrender to a Master,
One must understand the designs that are His.

This prayer, I bring to Thee Lord,
Through the souls You've delivered,
Through Your disciples who sought You,
and finally found You.

Deliver me from evil.

Amen!!

Reflections - Spiritual Guidance

hmm... this post is being written.......because.... I wanted to write it :) Lol, every post is written for the same reason, because I want to do it, because I feel like doing it, and because its an irresistible urge deep within.

Well......... today, its going to be about a lot of things.Its going to be something about myself, then about some other people, and then a prayer....may be about some ideas as well. Am not sure....here, this goes.............

1. Spiritual Guidance:

This is something I find very ironic. As I was reading J. Krishnamoorthy yesterday, I realized that He said exactly what I've been feeling over the ages. I do not accept any authority on myself in any aspect of my life generally speaking. Neither in the way I eat, dress, sleep, think, read or choose my profession, nor in the way I behave, the choices I make and the kind of life I want to live.

Then, why should I be accepting the authority of someone in my spiritual life?

Just because they say they've experienced, God, The eternal Truth and the ultimate reality?

Is it necessary that I will be having the same experiences if I follow the rituals they prescribe? and if yes, will it be mine? would it not be second hand? He very bluntly says....."We are second hand people"

I have decided, that I will continue to explore the spiritual path in the same manner as I've been......like a free spirit, a wanderer who would rather not stick to anyone, anywhere or anything.

The 'yayavar' in a true sense......the sense of spirit!

Lord,

help me realise the fact that

You love me as an individual,

and that I must find you individually.

Help me understand the difference between,

receiving help and being led,

and ,if You think I am to be led,

lead me Yourself Lord,

for Thine,

am I.

and Thee are mine.

Amen!

A special Prayer

O Heavenly Father !
O Divine Mother !
Saints of All religions !

I bow to thee humbly in acceptance of your unceasing blessings and yet seek more blessings from You!

Lord!
Make me humble,
accepting what you grant,
and not demanding....
what I want!

Grant me O Lord!
A spiritual Master,
One who'll love me, and yet be stern.
One who'll bring me to Thee,
with Logic and yet be Firm.

Bring me to a state My Lord!
when I follow Your devoted children,
and come back to Your Home.
When I am compassionate to all,
and yet my motto becomes.....

Beauty Enhancement and Pampering

I went for a complete beauty Enhancement package to a nearby saloon today. Cost me around 500 of which 300 mom contributed. I also learnt the things at the same time. a hair oil massage followed by waxing pedicure and manicure respectively. to which a facial (scrub, massage and pack) followed. Then I shampooed, got my eye-brow shaped, hair trimmed, and make up done. Draped in a Saree after 4 long hours I was ready for a marriage. I have just come back from the reception.

Some would say spending so much of time was foolery on the previous night to the exam, but its okay..I'm deeply relaxed now. Happy, Pampered, beautiful.

Lord,

Make me realize Your beauty,

The Divine Beauty that is eternal and all pervasive.

That which is in.....

The Lofty Mountain peaks,

The flowing rivers and streams,

The Waterfalls, cascades, and springs.

That which is in.....

The Blue sky overhead,

The Brown earth below,

The Deep Oceans underneath.

That which is in.....

The Birds that sing,

The Animals which graze the pastures,

The Green Pastures,

The Trees that stand tall, laden with fruit,

The grass so green,

The Sun so warm,

The Moon so fair,

The Breeze so cool.

But Lord,

The Most,

Make me see the beauty....

That which is in.....

The innocent smile of innocent children,

The benign smile of wrinkled faces,

The Proud smile of beautiful women,

The Confident smile of successful men and women.

And Lord,

More than even that,

Make me see the beauty....

That which is in.......

The souls of all those and which live.

Make me see the beauty of life Lord!
Make me see the beauty of Love Lord, which comes with life and which brings life.

Love, that is both the source and purpose of life.

Make me see the beauty of Love O Loving Lord!

And.....

Make me capable of loving one and all,

Those who are Your children,

That which is Your creation.

Make me love them as a humble child of Yours Lord.
